Hurupaki Educare Ltd is a private company providing After School Care and School Holiday Programmes from Hurupaki School.
We aim to provide a safe and stimulating programme, which caters for the children (Tamariki), their needs and interests. The programme is designed to be fun and provide social interaction and recreation in a friendly, caring environment. There will be emphasis on choice within a range of activities, quiet and active, group and individual.
The programme will reflect the cultural diversity of our area and will provide a well-managed service that meets the needs of the local community by providing recreation opportunities for children and enabling parents to fully participate in the community knowing that children are safe.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE
We operate out of the Hurupaki School Hall for the children of Hurupaki Primary School. If you would like further information please come along and visit us.
All children, including those attending on a casual basis, must be registered and formally enrolled before attendance.
Hours are 2.45pm to 5.45pm Monday to Friday, school term time only.
Afternoon tea is provided.
Daily Activities offered include:
Adventure playground
Organised games
Swimming pool (term 1 and 4).
Safe active games inside
Drawing, art and crafts
Homework – not compulsory.
The fee is $7.50 per child per hour. A discount of 10% is available for the second/third child attending.
Our programme is OSCAR accredited, families can apply for WINZ assistance – conditions apply. Our OSCAR policy and procedures document for both programmes is available upon request.
Hurupaki Educare is a completely separate entity from Hurupaki Primary School. Neither its staff nor the Board of Trustees are liable for any act or omission arising through Hurupaki Educare’s activities.
